Bio

I have been a member of the lecturing staff in ATU for 21 Years, presenting modules from level 7 to level 9. I have served on the Academic Council, and have developed numerous programmes within the School of Business. I have worked with local industry on a consultancy basis through various initiatives such as EI Innovation Vouchers. My specialist areas are Marketing and Management. I currently co-ordinate work placements on the MSc in Management/Marketing, and supervise up to MBS Research level. I am also involved in business start-ups and private business ventures external to ATU. I have attained various Masters and Post-Graduate awards in the areas of management and research and I am in the process of completing an EDd through Queens University.

Research & Engagement

  • Currently carrying out primary research on branding in education (EDd)
  • Supervised the theses of a number of MBS Research students
  • Supervised the dissertations of numerous MBS and MSc students
  • Participated in annual report and progress meetings for research students
  • Acted as an internal examiner for ATU
  • Completed 10+ Innovation Vouchers with local companies
  • Recently received certification for Action Learning Facilitation
  • Participated in a number of Erasmus visits to other international colleges
  • Acting as external examiner for a number of other IoTs
  • Liase with local organisations through the year as part of the work placement module on the MSc in Management/Marketing

Research projects in areas such as action learning, strategic management, strategic marketing, and operations management.
