Project Aim
The Enter to Transform Project aims to unearth the entrepreneurship capacity of the increasing refuge population in the Northwest Europe Region. The project offers a social innovation approach to refugee entrepreneurship and will develop a transnational network of supportive hubs which will allow refugee entrepreneurs to adapt to the Northwest Europe economy. The model will then be rolled out and replicated throughout the region. Enter to Transform will specifically target refugees who had previous business experience and will allow them to access existing business supports that has proved problematic in the partner countries. The hubs will function as a physical and virtual presence and allow engagement from all stakeholders leading to sustainable businesses and job growth in the Northwest Region.
The project is led by the University of Twente in the Netherlands and along with ATU Donegal, in Ireland there are partners in Germany, France and Switzerland.
